1. What we collect
When you connect KnownBase to your workspace, we process messages from channels you explicitly approve. We extract structured knowledge (expertise areas, decisions, relationships) and store it in your isolated workspace graph. We do not access DMs, private channels without approval, or files.
2. How we process data
Messages are processed through LLM APIs (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) with zero-retention agreements. Your data is processed in-memory and never stored by our AI providers. We do not use your data to train any AI models.
3. What we store
We store: extracted knowledge graph (expertise, decisions, relationships), aggregated analytics, and workspace configuration. We do not store raw message text long-term. Knowledge graph data is stored in isolated Neo4j instances on AWS (us-east-1, EU option available).
4. Sub-processors
- Amazon Web Services (infrastructure, us-east-1)
- Google Cloud / Gemini API (LLM processing, zero-retention)
- Anthropic / Claude API (LLM processing, zero-retention)
- Neo4j Aura (knowledge graph database)
- Stripe (billing)
5. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data, request deletion, export your data, withdraw consent at any time. Contact privacy@knownbase.ai for any data requests. We respond within 30 days.
6. Data retention
Knowledge graph data is retained while your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, all data is deleted within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
